Middle School
Middle School is a vulnerable time when students are trying to figure out what they believe and who they want to become. We believe our middle school is a place where our students can do this safely while being loved, nurtured and guided by faculty of strong godly character and integrity.
We want to develop strong leaders who will impact our world for Christ.
Electives
Our Middle Schoolers choose a new elective each quarter which meets 3 times per week. Electives include Art, Drama, Woodshop, Yoga, Cooking, Mathcounts, Life Skills, Survival Skills, Worship Band, Guitar, Chess, App Creators, Block Printing, and more.
Leveled Math
We offer Regular and Accelerated math at every grade level in Middle School.
STEAM
Middle School students meet 3 times per week and work through different STEAM modules each quarter which include Robotics, Coding, Green Architecture, Medical Detectives, Magic of Electrons, Design and Modeling, and more.

We have a comprehensive after school sports program. We play in a local private and charter school league.

6th Grade Science Camp
Our 6th graders spend a week at Mount Hermon Outdoor Science School. They get to do school in a beautiful outdoor classroom for the week.
7th Grade Mexico Mission
Our 7th graders spend a week at Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mision, Baja California. It is a completely unplugged week of selfless service and hard work. It is a trip they won't forget!
8th Grade Rock-N-Water
We take our graduating 8th graders to an epic long weekend of river rafting and rock climbing on the American River. What a great way to celebrate the end of their time at TLCS!
